Elementary, middle and high school levels:
QSI International School of Yerevan, which is an English-speaking private school, offers high quality teaching and exciting environment. The QSI School of Yerevan was opened in 1995 and, since 2000 holds the accreditation of Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools.
Note: QSI School of Yerevan offers education from pre-kindergarten through secondary levels.
If in addition to academic subjects your child is interested in music, dance and theater, writing, literature, you have the option of ”Aregnazan” Waldorf School , which is an independent private twelve-year school based on the alternative Waldorf pedagogy. Ayb School, where the best of Armenian schooling traditions is delivered through teaching with contemporary learning technologies since 2011. However, for admission it is required to take the Armenian language exam.
Note: Ayb School offers education from elementary to high school levels, however, admission to overseas students is open for middle and high schools only.

The international co-educational boarding school UWC Dilijan College situated on the verge of Dilijan National Park, since September 2014 offers IB Diploma Programme to students aged 16+. UWC Dilijan College is a full member of UWC International and International Baccalaureate World School (Diploma). The Curriculum is taught in English language, with support of other languages, mainly French, German, Russian, Spanish and mother-tongue. Beyond the classroom, students enjoy such outdoor activities as mountain hikes, rock climbing and skiing at in a nearby resort.

Did you know that the first lecture at Yerevan State University was held in February of 1920? By that time, it had only one faculty, that of History and Linguistics. Currently, Yerevan State University has 19 faculties. Instruction is conducted in Armenian, however, it is also offered in Russian or English languages for overseas students.

Founded in 1920, Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi is enlisted in the Directory of Higher Medical Institutions adopted by the World Health Organization. Since 1957 foreign students have been studying at YSMU. The languages of instruction are Armenian, Russian and English.

Last, but not least is the American University of Armenia founded in 1991 in Yerevan. The American University of Armenia is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission, is fully licensed by the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Education and Science and is affiliated with the University of California. The academic programs offered at AUA provide graduate and undergraduate education. English language is used for instruction.
